We have quite an extraordinary team at Adams!
From the very best pickers and packers to our lovely ladies in accounts. We know the difference between quality and class 2 produce.
Our pickers, working between 10pm-6am and a team of 20 make sure everything that should be is on your orders. This team is fast producing an average of 50 orders each a night. Some of them even more!
Our QC team ( Quality Control ) Check over 400 orders a night, making sure no box is left unturned. These are the guys who can tell you whether a bunch of dill is good enough to go out, or a box of fine bean hasn’t been checked properly by the pickers!
Our Drivers, these are the guys and girls you will see on a daily basis. These gents come in, grab any missing stock from your orders and get out to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. They also check your order on delivery to make sure we haven’t missed anything along the way.
Our Telesales. These are the ladies behind the phones. Working from 4pm-midnight these are the ladies who type up your orders, give instructions for the drivers regarding collection and instructions to the pickers regarding produce! Some serious typing skills!
Our Accounts. You guessed it! Our team of accountants here at Adams goes above and behind to work with you. These ladies are fantastic for reminders, setting up flexible payment options and keeping the invoices and credit notes organized! Not only that, but they are also in charge of our stock takes and paying for our goods… Which never ends!
Our Account Managers. Our team of experienced account managers including managers of the trade for years, ex chefs and a combined experience of 100 years! These are the gents to go to for any pricing queries, change of addresses, terms and anything and everything more!
Our Purchasing. Our purchasing team is composed of just a few, all very good in there own stations!
Zoltan takes charge of all the ambient and Dairy buying with help of his warehouse colleagues.
Kelseigh on the Frozen and Suley on the fresh fruit and veg!
We’re always looking for the best quality products for our customer base and never ending increase to our stock selection.
We are truly a family run business, starting with Ali and Suley – father and son tag team!
